Doula originates from the Greek word meaning "woman servant".

I love all things bodywork as it relates to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and babies and have always been inspired by the strength and miracle of birth. This is why I am proud to serve pregnant people and families throughout the Middle Georgia area. I am here to provide unbiased information and emotional support that benefits gestational parents and families during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

Birth Doulas

A birth doula is a professional support person trained in the needs of the family during pregnancy and childbirth. The doula offers non-judgmental support, guidance, evidence-based education and practical hands-on support during childbirth including comfort measures. A birth doula recognizes the profound impact of childbirth on the pregnant person.

The birth doula does not provide medical care, clinical tasks such as cervical checks or fetal heart tones and does not speak on behalf of the client.

Postpartum Doulas

A postpartum doula is a professional support person trained in the needs of the family in the days, weeks and months after birth or the addition of a new baby. The doula offers non-judgmental support, guidance, evidence-based education and practical hands-on support immediately after birth through the first year.
