Creating a Safe Space for Healing After Loss

Bereavement Doula
PAIL advocate - Bereavement Doula - Bonaire, GA

PAIL Advocate
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Advocate

As a PAIL Advocate (Bereavement Doula), I walk alongside you and your family to provide support, guidance, and compassionate care during the loss of a baby. This includes losses due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or diagnoses that may limit your baby’s life after delivery.

I also support families who have previously experienced loss and have not had the opportunity to process it fully.

How I Support You

My goal is to help families navigate this difficult journey with care, understanding, and practical assistance. Services include:

  • Initial Consultation: up to 60-minute virtual or in-person meeting (depending on distance)

  • Prenatal Support: 1–2 visits before delivery (in-person or virtual)

  • Labor & Delivery Support: Presence during birth to support emotional and practical needs

  • Immediate Postpartum Support: 2–3 hours after delivery to help the family process, hold, and spend time with their baby

  • Saying Hello & Goodbye: Guidance and support to create meaningful moments with your baby

  • Ongoing Check-Ins: 30-minute phone or video chats as needed

  • Practical Assistance: Help scheduling photographers, funeral homes, or contacting others if desired

  • Referrals & Resources: Guidance to additional support services, grief counselors, or local resources

Why a Bereavement Doula?

Having a dedicated advocate during this time:

  • Provides emotional support so you don’t have to navigate loss alone

  • Helps create meaningful memories and honor your baby’s life

  • Guides families through practical decisions and planning during a difficult time

  • Offers ongoing care and resources to help with grief and healing

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Marquisha F.

Courtney provides the best prenatal massage Middle Georgia has to offer. I have had MANY massages and she is extremely qualified, equipped, and blessed. I feel so fortunate to have found her in my final trimester. Each time I leave her massage table, I feel a renewed sense of energy, flexibility and ease. Her energy is warm and welcoming. She is an expert therapist & a gift to those of us fortunate enough to receive her services. I'll never consider another therapist for as long as I'm in the Middle, GA area. Yes! She IS that good!!!!!!

My massage was amazing! Courtney made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The pregnancy pillow was so comfortable and allowed me to lay face down which I've greatly missed recently. Can't wait to go back!

Courtney is amazing! I’ve been seeing her throughout my second pregnancy. She always makes me feel comfortable and has helped so much with mobility/pain relief. The specialty pregnancy pillows are heavenly! I’ll definitely be seeing Courtney for postpartum nursing aches once baby arrives.
